New Outdoor catalogue 2019

LIGMAN’s new 2019 Outdoor Main Catalogue is available now. With over a dozen brand new ranges, expansions to many existing families and additional information on new services and options this is the most comprehensive outdoor architectural lighting portfolio in the marketplace.

Highlights include the new L-COLUMN: Intelligent Light Column system, BILLUND street light family, new PRAGUE Bollard and LEEDS wall ranges, PETRA in-ground, AUGUSTA and MACARON families, MACARON Catenary, the new PATCHI and ALDO micro linear systems and FORREY, ABERDEEN and LUNAR post tops, the former also available as a bollard option.

Expanded ranges include an all new wall version of our popular VANCOUVER family, a powerful new large version of the QUANTUM floodlight and many ranges with improved lumen outputs and efficacies, new light source options such as GU-10 LED lamp versions.

Middle East Lighting Design Summit 2019

LIGMAN are proud to have been the event’s main Platinum Sponsor at the recent 2019 Middle East Lighting Design Summit, which took place in Dubai on the 29^th to 30^th April. We have been a long supporter and contributor at this annual event throughout the years, helping establish it as the premier conference for the region for the lighting design community.

Many of the top designers in the Middle East, together with some key international guests, gave presentations and joined panel discussions covering the latest issues in the regional marketplace including standards, technology and project work.

LIGMAN’s Business Development Director, Emre Güneş gave the Summit’s welcome address in which he emphasised the importance of the design process and our passion for sharing and listening with the lighting design community. Martin Valentine, LIGMAN’s Global Design Director, then gave one of the event’s keynotes on the subject of Missed Opportunities within Public Realm; demonstrating how issues of public safety and client sustainability can be better enhanced with precise optics and careful design and application.

Over 300 delegates attended over the two days and LIGMAN’s stand at the event was always busy. LIGMAN’s Middle East Sales/Marketing Manager, Jehan Dharmadasa led our regional team at the Summit and commended the event and its organisation for “focusing on lighting design specifically, bringing together a valuable resource group from diverse backgrounds, skills and experiences.”.

LIGMAN have been established for 12 years now in the region and we look forward to continuing our longstanding interaction with the local lighting design marketplace and customers at many more future events.

LIGMAN Germany and German Innovation Awards Wins

LIGMAN is delighted to announce our new LIGMAN Germany office will be open from the 1^st June 2019 serving our German and Swiss customers. Ligman Deutschland GmbH is based in the city of Ulm and headed by Alexander Günther, Country Manager Germany & Switzerland.

Alex is a well-known and popular figure in the lighting marketplace with 15-years’ experience in architectural lighting, having worked for and with many major brands in the architectural lighting field. LIGMAN Germany will be establishing an experienced team in Ulm to serve the German and Swiss marketplace and will a key part of the growing global LIGMAN family.

The foundation of LIGMAN Germany has coincided with LIGMAN winning a German Innovation Award for three of our outdoor lighting ranges; MACARON, CINATI and LADOR. These prestigious awards for our exquisite products were presented at a Gala event held in Berlin on the 28^th May and Alex Günther was there to accept them.

Lightfair 2019

Continuing our long association with the largest lighting exhibition in North America, LIGMAN’s booth at Lightfair 2019, which took place from the 5^th to 7^th May, showcased many of our latest product designs and innovations launched this year including the stunning new Augusta wall light and bollard range, our powerful full-cut off Prague Bollard series and the class leading Billund Streetlight family. Our exclusive MicroVOS™ technology for LIGMAN fixtures was another new feature on display and now LIGMAN customers can customise the optics of many ranges to meet specific lighting needs or constraints.

Neil Gillies, Vice President and Liz Gillies of LIGMAN USA, LIGMAN’s President and Group CEO, Sakchai Manawongsakul and Global Technical Director, Trevor Leighton all attended and met with many of our valued customers.

The show saw the unveiling our new ground-breaking modular L-Column; Intelligent Light Column system and many of the host of options and functions this configurable system offers were presented and demonstrated over the 3 busy days.
