LIGMAN Dark sky certified ranges

The International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) was founded in 1988 with a mission to preserve and protect the nighttime environment and our heritage of dark skies through environmentally responsible outdoor lighting. https://www.darksky.org/

IDA’s Fixture Seal of Approval program certifies outdoor lighting fixtures as being Dark Sky Friendly, ensuring they minimise glare while reducing light trespass and skyglow. All products approved in the program are required to be fully shielded and to minimise the amount of blue light in the nighttime environment.

The current criteria for the program has been in operation since 2016 and of all the of all participating companies worldwide to date, LIGMAN has the greatest amount of IDA certified products! Look out for the Dark Sky Approved Seal

[ui!] Urban Lighting Innovations and LIGMAN Announce strategic partnership to provide smart lighting and smart city applications

On the 5th of May, LIGMAN’s President and Group CEO, Mr. Sakchai Manawongsakul and the CEO of Urban Lighting Innovations, Mr. Matthias Weis, signed a letter of intent to form a strategic partnership. The partnership aims to jointly promote LIGMAN’s LIGHTCONNECT IoT luminaire product range and Urban Lighting Innovations systems integration, data analytics and smart city dashboards.

“This is an important step for LIGMAN IoT offerings, gaining the ability to introduce our clients to experts in the field of smart city systems integration and thereby strengthening the LIGMAN offer by adding state-of-art solutions to world class products.” said Mr.Sakchai Manawongsakul.

Urban Lighting Innovation is part of the [ui!] GROUP who is active around the globe and advises municipalities, cities and metropolitan regions on strategic planning for the realization of ambitious smart city objectives, including climate change impact mitigation, traffic and parking management, infrastructure upgrades and new energy strategies for even smarter cities. Urban Lighting Institute now assists cities in Germany, other European countries, the United States of America and Australia in their efforts to implement innovative concepts and solutions to achieve ambitious digitization objectives.

Available in aluminium or steel, LIGMAN can work with you to create stunning laser-cut designs for podiums, signage, screens, whatever your needs are.

We can offer internally illuminated designs or front lit as your preference, with finishes ranging from our standard powder coats through to corten, wood, stone and other special finishes from our both our LIGMAN Tailor-Made extended powder-coat options and Inspired by Nature textured finishes.

Our fine resolution laser cutting machinery can produce stunning fine detail and opens endless possibilities for your designs, plus we can tailor the lighting to suit your specific needs as well as controls and programming.

LIGMAN Security bollards now available

LIGMAN offers a number of our Bollard ranges as impact-resistant anti-traffic Security Bollards if you need to provide some significant physical safety protection on a project.

LIGMAN Security Bollards can be used to restrict vehicle access or provide vehicle guidance, to protect commercial premises or domestic properties,
to protect pedestrianised areas or prevent shop fronts or other assets from being damaged by an impact, either accidental or deliberate. LIGMAN Security Bollards provide a solution of protection and site restriction to areas that are vulnerable to collision impacts.

Our SECURITY CORE Accessory ref. A12691 is manufactured from 6.35mm thick galvanised steel with 53.35mm galvanised cross-support rods. Once fitted within our bollard it provides protection from a 2.75-ton vehicle, travelling at 50 km/h.

For additional strength, the galvanised pole can be filled with concrete up to the waterproof driver housing to provide a solid concrete barrier
Other specific protection standards (such as K4 rated) are available upon request

LIGMAN can now offer unique decorative powder coating finishes to a number of our Indoor and Outdoor product families with our LIGMAN Inspired By Nature range. These are a new generation of powders and heat transfer films that result in stunning and durable natural looking finishes, suitable for both commercial and residential applications.

Our Woodland Portfolio offers three popular contemporary wood-effect finishes as Standard options and a number of additional wood types available Upon Request. The LIGMAN LANTERN Building

The LANTERN Building is the culmination of many years of LIGMAN growing our portfolio of experience centres; our flagship stores, showrooms, workshop studios and seminar facilities.

We now have created a centre of excellence in our homebase of Bangkok, serving both as a workplace and destination for all our valued customers.

The LANTERN Building name both shows our intention to make it a beacon in the skyline of Bangkok, but also denotes its purpose:

Our new building will encompass external and internal showrooms over many levels from the building’s grounds up to our roof terrace. We have a 70-seat seminar room surrounded by training spaces and meeting rooms. Plus indoor and outdoor cafe areas.

As well as showcasing all our interior and exterior quality luminaires, our LIGMAN Tailor-Made service and Inspired by Nature Special Textured finishes, The LANTERN Building hosts our biggest demonstration suite of the world leading LIGMAN LIGHTCARE system, including immersible environments of both healthcare and wellbeing lighting applications, as well as the base for demonstrating our portfolios of Intelligent Light Columns (L-COLUMN), IoT LIGHTCONNECT and the new groundbreaking LIGMAN Evolve solutions.
