The International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) was founded in 1988 with a mission to preserve and protect the nighttime environment and our heritage of dark skies through environmentally responsible outdoor lighting. https://www.darksky.org/
IDA’s Fixture Seal of Approval program certifies outdoor lighting fixtures as being Dark Sky Friendly, ensuring they minimise glare while reducing light trespass and skyglow. All products approved in the program are required to be fully shielded and to minimise the amount of blue light in the nighttime environment.
