We are pleased to announce the latest innovation from LIGMAN, that builds on the existing range of environmentally conscious Dark Sky Approved luminaires and Turtle Friendly Lighting solutions, which protects and preserves the biodiversity of the night.
Nature Friendly Lighting is an ecologically sympathetic, adaptative lighting solution that regulates both the colour temperature and brightness level of light in exterior environments – reducing the impact of artificial lighting on the natural environment.
Luminaires in the Nature Friendly Lighting range feature two LED modules, one providing functional light at 3000K for times of high activity, for example between 20:00 and 00:00.
A second LED produces light in the 590 nm bandwidth only for low level AMBER lighting during low activity, typically from 00:00 until 07:00.
Although the standard configuration is for 3000K light until midnight and AMBER light from midnight until 07:00. The control system can be programmed to suit the needs of each project, whether that means fixed times or integration with a lighting control system.
It is also possible to integrate a motion sensor to activate the 3000K when the AMBER lighting is engaged for improved safety and visibility.
