Appointment of Marketing Manager, Business Development Manager (Middle East), and Regional Sales Manager (Middle East)

We are pleased to announce the following new internal appointments at LIGMAN:

SOPIDA SAMERSAMAI – Marketing Manager

Sopida joined LIGMAN in August 2016. She was initially part of the Lighting calculation team, and after three years joined LIGMAN’s special business unit and product information management project. In 2020 she was promoted to the role of Chief of Global Marketing where she honed her skills in brand identity, and coordinating messaging for consistency across regional and international markets. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

– Leading marketing activities and campaigns.
– Maintaining brand awareness, identity, and messaging.
– Product information management for communicating effectively both internally and externally.

JEHAN DHARMADASA – Business Development Manager (Middle East)

Jehan joined LIGMAN’s Middle East office in 2009. He brought him a wealth of experience in B2B relationship management, however was new to the lighting industry. In those first years he was integrated into the project sale division where he was entrusted with managing key accounts in both the private and public sectors. Whilst delivering and growing sales volume and project portfolios in the United Arab Emirates.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

– Managing and supporting Relationship Building and working with Specifiers for Large Projects.
– Specification Development, Introduction and Promotion of New Products, Technology and Businesses lines.
– Responsible for coordination with sales Team on Specifier’s Service support.

PUNEET BALI – Regional Sales Manager (Middle East)
 

Puneet joined LIGMAN in May 2024. He brings with him 27 years of B2B experience in Marketing, Business development & Project Management. Which has seen him involved with business strategy planning and implementation, consultative and project sales, brand building and client management. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

– Plan and Executive Sales Budget and BD activities in GCC region.
– Team Management, Specifier support and Customer Centric Deliverables Management.
