Thailand is the birthplace of the LIGMAN brand and has been the Global Headquarters since 1996 when Factory 1 was first registered. Located in
the province of Chachoengsao, Factory 1 has since expanded to cover a 12,000 m² area and in 2012 a second factory with 12,000 m² facilities was established 20 km from Factory 1 on a 100,000 m² property.
With facilities covering 24,000 m², Thailand is the global manufacturing headquarters responsible for design development, prototyping, and testing of the entire LIGMAN range of luminaires. In addition to servicing each of its regional divisions and subsidiaries around the world.
The North American manufacturing division of LIGMAN was founded in Oregon in 1995 and is supported by
a full complement of highly qualified engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales and administration staff.
Research, development and ultimately final product launch are done in conjunction with LIGMAN International Headquarters. Using state-of-the-art design software and incorporating the latest in-house photometric laboratory, ETL accredited Level IV test laboratory and using the latest technology, CNC machines and manufacturing equipment, LIGMAN provides consistent product quality while maintaining the high tolerances and product excellence that LIGMAN has become recognized for.
LIGMAN’s European Headquarters was established in 2017 and is the main centre for distribution in Europe. Situated in the Czech Republic just north of Prague in Přestanov, Ústí nad Labem, just 20 km from the German borders, this location in the heart of Europe is in the perfect position for the export of luminaires to the whole of the EU and the Middle East region.

LIGMAN’s latest manufacturing facility has been opened in India in 2021. The factory is located in the UPSIDC area of Greater Noida, which is in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The integrated township is shaping up as India’s smartest city, the National Capital Region’s most modern urban development centre and its fastest-developing centre of attraction. It has emerged as a modern model of far-sighted town planning.
