Throughout February and March, LIGMAN set out on a series of worldwide presentations and events on the subject of lighting design. In February Martin Valentine, LIGMAN Global Design Director attended numerous events throughout New Zealand and Australia in association with Impressions Lighting, our partners in New Zealand and the IESANZ. Very well attended talks were given in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on the subject of Human Centric Lighting using examples of his own work and research.
In Australia alongside our partners Efficient Lighting Systems he gave breakfast presentations in Sydney and Adelaide on the subject of historic façade lighting techniques as well as various other talks in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane at the beginning of March. Around the same time LIGMAN’s Business Development Director Emre Güneş attended IALD Enlighten Asia in Tokyo at which he gave a presentation on ‘How to grow a lighting design community from ground zero’ using examples of his journey within Turkey.
Martin Valentine moved onto the United States to work with LIGMAN USA at LEDucation in New York which has become a premier lighting design event in the US calendar. Recently made a member of IESNA, Martin went on to give a presentation to the Portland IES Chapter, as well as delivering papers in Boston, San Francisco., Los Angeles and Irvine to varied audiences of engineers, lighting designers and architects.
LIGMAN would like to thank all of our international offices and valued distribution partners for their hard work in making these talks such as great success. This is part of the vision of LIGMAN; to share our expertise, become more actively involved in international events and listen to lighting designer, architects and engineers throughout the world. We look forward to meeting you at future events throughout 2019 and beyond.
