H.E. Mr. Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, led an official and business delegation to Thailand on the 15th to 17th January 2019, which was the first-ever official visit to Thailand by a sitting prime minister of the Czech Republic.
As part of this visit LIGMAN, as the first Thai company to invest in the Czech Republic with our new LIGMAN EU Factory & HQ, we are very proud to have been invited to a forum of business leaders to hear a speech from Mr Andrej Babiš. Our President and Group CEO, Sakchai Manawongsakul was honoured to be invited to speak and meet the Prime Minister, as well as the Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Marek Libřický and Minister of Industry and Trade, Marta Nováková.
The Czech Republic has registered a steady economic growth over the past few years in Europe and the country has been a centre of European industry and advancement in science, technology and innovation for centuries.
