Project Hightlight
“Reconstruction of the Gare maritime (Ferry terminal) in Port-Maria Quiberon, France”
The new ferry terminal is a symbol of Brittany’s commitment to the surrounding islands of Houat, Hoëdic, and Belle-Île.
The international style construction adopts a minimal aesthetic to integrate it with its surroundings. With an emphasis on raw concrete, glass facades, the station becomes a thoroughfare for both people and diffuse light.
Designed by DDL Architectes Lorient and working with electrical design office Egis, a lighting solution needed to be both technically and aesthetically sound.
JET surface exterior downlights met these strict criteria, providing the desired quality and quantity of light. As well as marine treatment for proximity to the seafront and the exact Ral colour to match the raw concrete.
