“Macau Light Rail Transit station for major tourist and entertainment facilities.“
Completed in 2019, the Cotai West Station is located on the Avenida Cidade Novain in Macau China.
The station is unique in that it primarily services tourists and staff travelling to the many casino resorts, which include Parisian Macao, Venetian Macao, and Galaxy Macau. As well those wising to visit the wetland ecological viewing zones.
During design a complete simulation of the station was created. Photometric data from LIGMAN enabled an accurate visualisation and lighting calculation of the transit station.
TANGO surface facade fittings illuminate the stairways and undercover corridors to the station. Whilst VEKTOR surface facade luminaires are used at access and congestion points requiring higher levels of illumination.
