Puffing Billy Carpark with LIGMAN

Project Hightlight

“Lighting the car park of one of Australia’s oldest and best preserved heritage steam railways.”

Built in 1900 to deliver anything from passengers to timber, livestock, potatoes and plants between Melbourne and the small communities living in the Dandenong Ranges. Puffing Billy is a historic heritage railway that still carries passengers to this day.

Puffing Billy car park in Belgrave is the starting point for train journeys to Lakeside and Gembrook. Taking travellers through the old growth forests and heritage trail of this historic railway line.

BILLUND street and area lighting fixtures illuminate the Puffing Billy Belgrave car park. The DarkSky approved Nature Friendly luminaires are ideally suited to this location. Reducing the upward light spill, and conscious of the natural surroundings. BILLUND street and area fittings provide light for human safety without impacting the native flora and fauna.
