GLIMP Netherlands, one of LIGMANs valued global distributer partners, recently completed the TechMed Centre project at the University of Twente. The TechMed Centre is beautiful renovation of the University’s former ‘Technohal’ and provides new students facilities for their Honours programme, housing the Honours Office, study association, Ockham, MRI-Centre and extra meeting spaces.
The design provides a more visible and approachable environment for students and its central location offers an O&O square and DesignLab close by at campus and also houses quarterly events where more than a hundred students come together.
Working closely with the Royal BAM Group nv and Efftink Construction B.V , the Project solution comprised of over 100 Indoor NYBRO linear fixtures in communal and washroom areas plus custom galvanised steel-suspended exterior LIGHTALK luminaires undertaken through the LIGMAN Tailor-Made service.
Also within the project site are our recessed LIGHTALK fixtures used to illuminate the University sign, an installation designed through Illuments and Lightbusters.
