Project Hightlight

“Water Sports and Recreation Precinct in Wan Chai is Hong Kong’s Longest Waterfront Promenade.”

Designed by Earthasia architects, the Water Sports and Recreation Precinct is located on Hung Hing Road, Wan Chai. Connecting Kennedy Town and Fortress Hill it offers complete views of Victoria Harbour.

PRAGUE solar integrated bollards provide lighting throughout the precinct. The self powered bollards promote sustainability and reduce running costs of the precinct. Whilst dark sky approved low level bollard lighting preserves the view of the harbour.

The precinct features two retired East Rail Line Mid-Life Refurbishment train cars. Retaining some of their original features, the heritage train cars enable the public to reminisce about the “Fly Head” trains of the past.
