Located in Nonthaburi, the Pak Kret Community Sports Center has been developed as a multi-functional public facility, providing a welcoming environment for sports, recreation, and community activities. The project is designed to serve as an inclusive space where people of all ages can gather, exercise, and engage in outdoor activities within a safe and comfortable setting.
The architectural concept focuses on openness and accessibility, creating a seamless connection between built structures and surrounding landscape elements. As an active public space, the project requires a lighting approach that not only ensures safety and visibility but also enhances the overall atmosphere during evening hours.
The lighting design by WM KONCEPTO CO., LTD. adopts a balanced approach, combining functional illumination with subtle architectural accents. Carefully positioned luminaires provide clear guidance along pathways, activity zones, and circulation areas, while maintaining visual comfort and minimizing glare.
A range of LIGMAN lighting solutions has been integrated throughout the site to support different functional requirements. LIGHT LINEAR PT luminaires deliver consistent illumination across open areas and circulation routes, while VANCOUVER bollards provide refined pathway guidance lighting along pedestrian pathways.
Architectural elements are highlighted through the use of ARIZONA light columns, creating vertical emphasis and reinforcing spatial identity. In-ground luminaires such as MASK and HARRIER in-ground luminaires are used to subtly accentuate landscape features and built structures, adding depth and visual interest to the environment.
Additionally, LIGHTALK recessed luminaires contribute to a clean and integrated lighting appearance within architectural surfaces, while LADOR cluster column projectors enhance specific focal areas within the site.
The result is a well-balanced lighting scheme that supports safety, usability, and visual coherence—transforming the Pak Kret Community Sports Center into the destination for the local community both day and night.
