Trailing edge dimming
Trailing edge dimming (electronic dimming, a type of Phase dimming) utilizes a current that is turned off as the AC waveform ends, right before it crosses zero. Trailing edge dimming happens through the AC Mains cable, without a separate wiring, so it becomes a convenient method for the installation.
