LIGMAN IDM

Featuring a suite of luminaire modules, technology options, and infinite configurations, LIGMAN’s L-COLUMN is the most powerful and adaptable smart city solution in the marketplace. To enable the full potential of this system to be realised, LIGMAN have developed IDM, a proprietary software package licensed by LIGMAN to manage all smart pole devices from within a single platform.

Until now, management of smart pole devices was handled by their respective software packages, with lighting, CCTV, and other devices controlled by individual applications. LIGMAN IDM – IoT (Internet of Things) Device Management – enables consolidation of all devices installed inside the smart pole, namely:

Installed on a server on a client’s host, LIGMAN IDM software provides a dashboard for monitoring, connecting, setting, controlling and summarising data for each connected device.
The central management platform showcases many features that ordinarily require their own interface:
LIGMAN IDM-1

LIGMAN IDM V.1 (version one) software will be installed on a project-by-project basis, on the clients nominated server. One time licensing of LIGMAN IDM is determined by the pole quantity or project scale, as well as the pole(s) with accessories.

Free version upgrades and service are included for the first two years from commissioning, after which a yearly subscription plan is available to access upgrades and service. Projects and clients who choose not to subscribe are still active users, however do not have access to version upgrades or service requests.

This is the first phase of the LIGMAN IDM platform that has been developed. New features will continue to be developed, improving existing functionality and allow more devices to operate on the software in the future.
