Taipei Bioinnovation
Park
The Taipei Bioinnovation Park (TBIP) is the core component of the Nangang Biotech Industry Cluster project, which includes Academia Sinica, the National Biotechnology Research Park (NBRP), and the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration.
Built by Century Biotech Development Corporation. TBIP construction started in 2019 and was expected to finish in 2023, however was completed ahead of schedule and inaugurated on 30 March 2021. It has 17 floors above ground and 3 floors below ground, with around 9000m² of space for biotech companies and special facilities.
BENTON pillar luminaries provide low height, way-finding illumination to the gardens and landscaping. The discrete housing enables them to blend in with their surroundings.
The Taipei Bioinnovation Park is a new hub for biotechnology in Taiwan that showcases the country’s achievements and potential in this field. The park is a testament to Taiwan’s commitment and ambition to become a global leader in biotechnology.
Lighting Calculation Support
Working closely with the LIGMAN team who provided lighting calculation support on the project, the lighting simulations provided precise positioning of the floodlights to uniformly illuminate the building façade.
