LED Expo Thailand brings together ‘Energy Efficiency and Digitalization for SMART Lighting’. This years theme was ‘Connected lighting for sustainable living’.

LED Expo Thailand 2023

We presented new luminaires from our exterior catalogue, in particular underwater fittings: FUNEN, ANNET, BORNHOLM, and ORGEON. MACARON, MARVEL, and VERANDA bollards. Surface wall mounted LEEDS WEDGE in powder coated white, along side VEKTER, and GINO up/down light. Various iterations of compact square LADOR fittings. Presenting this luminaire family in surface wall mounted, ceiling mounted, and projector versions. Plus LIGHTALK linear in-ground luminaires.

The LED Expo Thailand 2023 was an opportunity for existing clients and visitors to the fair to see new LIGMAN products in person. It was great to see so many familiar faces at our booth, and introduce new clients to the LIGMAN brand.

New VDO – PITTSBURGH

Designed for light industrial and urban area lighting solutions. PITTSBURGH is a robust surface mounted, low profile wall luminaire with a high protection rating.

Available in small, medium and large sizes, which correspond to a single, double, or triple LED module housed in the same fixture. It features six standard lighting distributions: asymmetrical, elliptical, very narrow, narrow, medium, wide, and very wide.

Each size has two variations: white LED in 3000°K (Warm White) or 4000°K (Neutral White), and a RGBW colour changing option with DMX/RDM addressability.

Project – Taipei Bioinnovation Park

Taipei Bioinnovation

Park

The Taipei Bioinnovation Park (TBIP) is the core component of the Nangang Biotech Industry Cluster project, which includes Academia Sinica, the National Biotechnology Research Park (NBRP), and the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration.

Built by Century Biotech Development Corporation. TBIP construction started in 2019 and was expected to finish in 2023, however was completed ahead of schedule and inaugurated on 30 March 2021. It has 17 floors above ground and 3 floors below ground, with around 9000m² of space for biotech companies and special facilities.

Exterior lighting to the TBIP features many LIGMAN luminaires. The impressive façade illumination is achieved with QUANTUM floodlight & projectors with RGBW. The colour concept takes inspiration from the Aurora Borealis to produce dynamic blends of colour and animation.

Major pedestrian thoroughfares around the building are illuminated by STEAMER street & area lighting luminaires. The column mounted, dark-sky approved fittings, are both powerful and efficient floodlights.

BENTON pillar luminaries provide low height, way-finding illumination to the gardens and landscaping. The discrete housing enables them to blend in with their surroundings.

The Taipei Bioinnovation Park is a new hub for biotechnology in Taiwan that showcases the country’s achievements and potential in this field. The park is a testament to Taiwan’s commitment and ambition to become a global leader in biotechnology.

Lighting Calculation Support

Working closely with the LIGMAN team who provided lighting calculation support on the project, the lighting simulations provided precise positioning of the floodlights to uniformly illuminate the building façade.

Project – Office du tourisme, Bordeaux, France

Office du tourisme, Bordeaux, France

The Bordeaux Town Hall commissioned an upgrade to the facade lighting of the Office du tourisme. The Tourist Information Office for the city and surrounds of Bordeaux, France.

Service Technique de Bordeaux (Municipal services) worked together with Michaël Courouble from Negoce Eclairage. LIGMAN provided samples for lighting tests and assisted with technical details for the Town Hall.

NORDSTROM square surface flood lights and projectors with RGBW uplight the facade and window recesses. Casambi Lighting Controls regulate the lighting, which can illuminate the façade in the national colours of the French flag.
