Project Highlight

“The pride of Blacktown provides end-to-end support for the community
to have the best relationship with their pets”

Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre is a facility that houses stray and surrendered animals. The local government organization services many city councils in the Sydney region, Australia.

The exterior car park includes 38 parking bays, a pick up and drop off area, and pedestrian path. LIGHT LINEAR DENVER street and area luminaires light up the area at night.

Twin outreach fittings illuminate both the footpath and adjacent parking bays, with the luminaires mounted at different heights. This also reduced the total number of poles required to illuminate the area.
The luminaire optics enabled enough light to reach the opposite parking bays, efficiently illuminating the carpark for safety and vision.

Projects Highlight

“First opened in 1871, Stockholm Central Train Station
is one of the main hubs in the city”

Stockholm Central Station is the largest train station in Sweden. Located in the Norrmalm district, it services over 200,000 travellers and commuters daily. Bus and metro stations surround the Central Train Station connecting it to the rest of the city.

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) commissioned Sweco to upgrade lighting above the covered platforms.

272 ODESSA surface mounted floodlights provide high levels of uniform lighting above the tracks. Mounted onto the concrete bulkhead with surface mounted wiring, the technical solution makes minimal impact on the existing structure.

Announcement – LIGMAN’s approach to sustainability

We are pleased to announce LIGMAN’s Sustainability campaign to meet the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Introduced in 2015, the UN 2030 Agenda is a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Governments, organisations, and companies around the world are taking measures to achieve this vision.

A holistic approach to sustainability is at the foundation of LIGMAN. We have identified three core areas within which we are contributing to the 2030 Agenda.

We recognise our role in the global marketplace as a leading lighting manufacturer. For this reason, it is important for us to not only produce high-quality lighting products but also engage in ethical and environmental.

Evolution and innovation are guiding principles at LIGMAN. Technology is always improving and new frameworks of operation challenge accepted standard practices.

We are passionate about providing perfect lighting solutions for people. At LIGMAN this means more than illuminating the environment people live in. It extends to the well-being of our employees and corporate.

Light for TODAY  what we’re already doing – Our Solutions
Light for TOMORROW  what we plan to do next – Our Actions
Light for PEOPLE  our company philosophy – Our Culture

Sustainability principles measurable and actionable ensures we will fulfil our commitments to the international goals.
